On Friday night we arrived in Neah Bay around 6pm. We checked in at the Kingfisher Inn and watched a few minutes of Whale Rider, which was very fitting for the visit to NEAH. The Makah indians who live in Neah Bay have returned to taking up their old tradition of hunting whales.
This picture is from Cape Flattery a little outside of the rundown town . It's a 1/2 mile hike, but there are amazing views and waves crashing on the rocks. This might be my favorite place in all of Washington. It is also the most Northwestern point in the United States.
